Each tower exploded in a smooth wave --
not discrete explosions.
A continuous wave of explosive destruction
moved down each tower, starting around the crash zone.
- It took 15 seconds for the demolition wave to reach the ground, in each tower.
- It sounded like a crashing ocean wave.
